Mediocre Fight of the Day: Spider Man Musical vs Safety

The Mediocre Fight

You know, when I heard that they were making a Spider Man musical, and it was going to be somehow created in partnership with Bono of U2, I thought to myself “There is no possible way this could be a bad idea.”  Well, a few years later it seems I might have been wrong.

Last week, a 5th actor was injured and will be out for several weeks.  Five actors, injured in a musical.  I want you to think about that for a minute.

Okay.  So, since opening 5 people have been injured, and some quite seriously.  Hmm?  What’s that?  The show isn’t even open yet?? Holy shit.  Maybe they can just bill this as the Nascar of Broadway.  Wait a minute… that’s actually a pretty good idea.  Just play the songs Bono wrote for this over the loudspeakers at a Nascar event, and paint the cars like characters from Spider Man.  Boom.  Now not only are you saving your talented actors, you’re bringing a little class to Nascar.  Bono, I expect an Executive Producer credit when you make Spider Car.
