Mediocre Fight of the Day: Black Eyed Peas vs Performing Live

The Mediocre Fight

This is one of the first Mediocre Fights that we’ve done that truly embodies the spirit of mediocrity – a live performance by the Black Eyed Peas.  Don’t get me wrong, the Black Eyed Peas have been hugely successful – they’ve been in a Target commercial, a DirecTV commercial, a Blackberry commercial, a concert in Times Square to promote Samsung’s new line of 3D Televisions, a Dr Pepper commercial, an Apple commercial, an NBA commercial, a Pepsi commercial, a Doritos commercial, a Best Buy commercial, and still somehow found the time to make some albums.  However much I might like their studio work, their live performances just seem to lack a little… zazz.  So in conclusion: Black Eyed Peas when mixed to hell and auto-tuned and you don’t see how bored they look: good, perhaps great.  Black Eyed Peas live: mediocre, at best.

Honestly though I can’t hate, and I do have a great deal of respect for them.  Black Eyed Peas Grammys: 6. The Mediocre Fight Grammys: 0.  In fact, 99% of the people reaching this site probably don’t even know we’re a band, and think we’re a 14 year old drawing cartoons.
